Natalie Portman and Millepied’s paths initially crossed on the set of the acclaimed 2010 film “Black Swan,” directed by Darren Aronofsky. Millepied’s role as a choreographer for the film marked the beginning of their journey together, culminating in Portman’s Oscar win for Best Actress. The couple tied the knot in 2012, embarking on a shared life and raising their two beloved children.

While Portman’s recent cinematic venture was in 2023’s “May December,” a Todd Haynes film that garnered critical acclaim for its cast, Millepied ventured into directing with his debut film “Carmen.” Starring Paul Mescal and Melissa Barrera, the film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival and graced cinema screens last year.

As they embark on separate paths, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied carry with them the memories of a shared journey, both personally and professionally, over the past decade.
